As some of you may know from working on previous projects, pre-production is a huge part of producing. This link is a pre-production check-list that will help you cover all aspects of pre-production. The more pre-production you do for a project, the more successful the final result tends to be. Pre-production helps outline all the necessities for the project as well as set goals for certain stages.

This pre-production check-list goes over eleven steps, including but not limited to, budgeting, setting objectives, video treatments, and scheduling. Budgeting and video treatments may not be something you’re used to, but if you’re working on a shoot with a company, extensive outlining of the video and making sure you have the money to finance it are two of the most important parts of pre-production.
